The New Tugs. - The tug boat Ontario, which arrived here last week, is now fitting up at Miller's yard, and will be out in a few days. She is a fine model, and was built throughout at Philadelphia, for the owner in this city, Capt. R. Stearns, who is to be the commander.

Another tug called the Oswego, is now completed at Philadelphia, and ready to leave for this port. She will proceed by sea and up the St. Lawrence river, her dimensions being much too large to pass the Erie canal locks.

She was built expressly for Capt. Joseph Kimball, of this city, who will also take command of the new craft. Her dimensions are 108 feet in length, 19 feet beam, 9 1/2 feet hold, being 10 feet longer than the "Page," and considerably larger than any tug boat now in the harbor. Her propeller will be driven by two 22 inch cylinder engines, of 22 inch stroke, manufactured at the Philadelphia engine works. She is expected to arrive about the 1st of July, when, from all accounts, we may expect to see something a little ahead of the ordinary line. Both these tugs will operate in our harbor for a short time, but are intended for service on the St. Clair Flats.
