Propeller Barge RALEIGH, grounded and lightered at the St. Clair Flats, May 1874. Loss $300.

      Chicago Inter-Ocean, Dec. 25, 1874



      The stm. RALEIGH and tow barge, which passed up Wednesday morning, went aground in the evening near the upper end of the flats. After about 12 hours' work she succeeded in working herself and consort off and went on her way.
