Ship Building. - Messrs. Goble & Macfarlane have an order to build another schooner similar to the Daniel Lyons and will commence the work immediately. It is the intention to launch before the opening of navigation, providing the weather does not interfere with the work. The Lyons commenced in the latter part of September, would have been launched some time since had it not been for the delays occasioned by the winter storms.

Other parties are negotiating for the building of a vessel full canal size, but with less dead rise, to carry a larger load than is now brought through the Welland Canal.

Messrs. A. Miller & Co., are preparing to put another vessel in frame to be ready on the opening of navigation.
