F. MORRELL Bark of 567 tons, owned at Newport by Luff & Co. Bound from Buffalo to Chicago, was damaged by collision on St. Clair River, June 1866. Loss to ship $500 Insurance $375.

NOTE.--the above casualty may be incorrect as the vessel is not listed in the 1866 Underwriters Register, but appears in the 1871 version with date of build given as Dec. 1866, also note that the casualty is not carried in the Casualty List for 1866, Buffalo Commercial Advertiser. Likely 1867 is the correct year.
