Lachine Canal

Tenders will be received at the offic eof the Board of Works, Kingston, until Wednesday, the 14th December next, at noon, for excavating about two miles of the Lachine Canal, at the upper end - the work consisting chiefly of rock excavation.

The work will be divided into sections of 220 yards each: and one or more sections may be tendered for.

For further particulars apply to Mr. Charles Atherton, civil engineer, 18 Lille St.James Street, Montreal, on and after Wednesday 30th Nov. inst..

Sealed tenders signed by two responsible securities resident in the province and endorsed "Tender For Lachine Canal" to be addressed to Thomas A. Begly, Esq., secretary of the Board of Works.
