The brig FRANCIS MILLS, Capt. Langley, went ashore on the Canada side, 3 miles below Point Abino, at 2:00 P.M. yesterday. She lies partly filled with water, by which the lower tier of her cargo, consisting of merchandise, will be injured. She was bound for Chicago and St. Josephs, and will probably be got off.

The stm. WATERLOO brought up from Chippewa this morning a portion of the cargo of the brig F. MILLS beached above Point Abino. They consist of cotton goods, coffee, sugars, &c., originally shipped by Messrs. Hollister & Co. Other portions of the cargo will be brought in this evening, the underwriters having chartered the above steamer for the purpose of visiting the wreck this afternoon.
