      Monday evening the schr. JAMES COUCH, while in tow of the prop. KELLY, collided with a tow barge, just after leaving Detroit River, by which she lost her jibboom and bowsprit, and sustained other damages, amounting in all to about $400. The barge which was bound up with the prop. NEW YORK was slightly injured. The COUCH arrived in port yesterday and at last account she was aground in the river.
