Burlington Bay Canal

Tenders will be received by the subscriber, until the 1st November next, for the following materials which are to be delivered on the Burlington Bay beach as may be directed by the engineer.

62,000 feet squared pine or oak, in 30 feet lengths
14,300 feet do. do. in 20 feet lengths
10,500 feet flatted oak, in 30 feet lengths
44,300 feet do in 20 feet lengths

The squared timber to be well hewed and squared to 12 inches, perfectly sound, and free from sap or shakes; the remainder of the tender to be also sound and free from shakes, and to be flatted to 10 inches and of such dimensions across as to give heads of 12x10 inches, free of sap.

One-fourth of the foregoing materials are to be delivered on or before the 1st April, 1843; the remainder in four equal monthly instalments, as that the whole shall be laid down on or before the 1st August, 1843.
