SCHOONER G. G. HOUGHTON ASHORE.

The schooner GEORGE G. HOUGHTON, a Milwaukee built vessel of the old Welland Canal type now owned by William H. Marsh of Oswego, ran ashore Thursday night on the point at Cape Vincent. She had on board 24,000 bushels of corn from Toledo for Ogdensburg. The vessel is supposed to have suffered but little damage, and an early release is expected.
