BIG CHIEF gas driven propeller of 13 Gross tons, built 1929. U. S. Number 228300. Vessel caught fire and exploded at Lay Bros. Fisheries Inc. dock, foot of Meigs Street, Sandusky, Ohio. Dec. 5, 1951. Considered a total loss.
