Description
Full Text

Buffalo, May 3
LAKE STORM.---The Steam Brig SUPERIOR, on her way to Detroit, from this place, on the 22 ult. encountered a gale in which she carried away one of her top-masts. Notwithstanding this accident, she completed her trip in time to leave this place again on Friday last, her regular saling day. She was however, detained in port until Sunday morning, by a tremendous gale of wind--the most severe that we have witnessed this season.
