Full Text

The schooner WEAZLE and a boat, we learn have beached a short distance up the lake--The navigation of the lake is dangerous at this season of the year, and those trusting property on board, should ascertain that vessels are sea-worthy and the master acquainted with his business, and the lake.

Ken: I tried to follow the 1815 Weasel\Weazle after she was "got off' from her Oct. 1815 beaching, and she seemed to last for another full year, before she disappears, what happened to her is anybody's guess, but she was likely wrecked.

Open Boat ------ J. Harris from Fort Erie.

There is no more mention of the WEASEL, something unrecorded happened to her and J. Harris is only mentioned in [Oct. 15.] once. It would seem that this particular Weasel came to an end.
