There was a violent storm on Lake Erie, some 10 or 12 days since. Several vessels are reported to be wrecked, among them is mentioned the Schooner EXPERIMENT, belonging to J. Lovejoy Esq. A small schooner belonging to J.A. & B.F. Barker, was lost on Monday last, a few miles from this place, having on board a quantity of lumber. No lives were lost.

It is reported that the EXPERIMENT, Capt. Lovejoy, beached near Long Point, is about to be got off, without essential injury.
