H.S. WALBRIDGE Schooner, had her sails damaged &c., on Lake Erie, June 1866. Property loss $800.

      Commercial Advertiser, Feb. 26, 1867

The Schooner H.S. WALBRIDGE, of this city, was one of numerous others which suffered severely in the late gale on Lake Erie. The Detroit Post says she arrived there yesterday morning minus most of her sails, also her jibboom. After being disabled by the loss of her canvas she run before it for three hours and finally came to anchor 15 miles off Eau Point. She is bound for Chicago and is repairing at Detroit.
