ALGERINE Schooner, cargo salt, sprung a leak and damaged cargo on Lake Ontario, August 1866. Property loss, hull $75, cargo $200

      SPRUNG A LEAK. - The schooner ALGERINE cleared from this port on Saturday with a cargo of salt for Chicago. About 4 o'clock Sunday morning, when off Genesee, she sprung a leak in her centre-board box, and put back for this place, arriving here at 12 A. M, yesterday, with four and a half feet of water in her hold. She lies at the salt dock discharging her cargo, and the damage will be repaired immediately. - Oswego Times.
