MARINE DISASTER. - The schooner MINNESOTA, which hails from Chicago, met with a disaster on Friday evening, which resulted in her sinking, near the Lime Kiln, this side of Malden. She had taken on a cargo of lumber at this port for Buffalo, and left here in tow of the J.B. SMITH, for Lake Erie, in company with the schooner BELLE CITY, when, as is supposed, her line to the BELLE got adrift, causing her to sheer, strike a rock, and immediately sink. Prior to leaving here, she had been sold for $8,000, to be delivered on her arrival at Buffalo. - Detroit Free Press.
