Propeller WHITBY, cargo wheat, sunk by collision with Steamer OSPREY in the St. Lawrence River, November 1866. Total loss. Property loss, hull $10,000, cargo $14,000.

PROPELLER WHITBY SUNK. - We learn by a dispatch from Hamilton this morning that the propeller OSPREY ran into and sunk the propeller WHITBY, on Lachine Lake, River St. Lawrence, in 15 feet water. The WHITBY was laden with wheat, and bound for Montreal. - Oswego Times.
