During the blow on Friday night, the schrs. THONAS HART and DETROIT, the former of Oswego and the latter of Cleveland, went ashore at Sodus, and will probably be lost. The HART was laden with pork from the Upper lakes, the most of which will be saved. The DETROIT was freighted with wheat, most of which will be saved in a damaged state. The schr. HANNAH from lake Erie, was also in company, and came very near being lost; but was preserved by casting an anchor just before entering the surf. She lost most of her spars. It is somewhat singular that both of the Captains supposed themselves making the harbor at
oswego when they went ashore.---Rochester Daily Adv.

We learn from the Lyons Whig, that the schr DETROIT and ELI HART, ran foul of each other on Friday night, near Sodus Bay. The HART was smashed to pieces, and the DETROIT much shattered. Both vessels were from the Upper lakes, with full cargoes, which will be partially saved. Loss $10,000.------Rochester Demo.
