Capt. Edward Maytham is in Cleveland making arrangements for towing the bottom of the prop. NORTHERNER to that port. It will be remembered that she burned at the Islands last fall, and after the accident Capt. Maytham became the purchaser of what was left of her. As soon as the ice will permit a Cleveland tug will bring what is left of the hull of the NORTHERNER to that port. When she arrives she will be put in drydock for temporary repairs. This will enable Capt. Maytham to decide what he will do, whether rebuild her here or calk her bottom and tow her to Buffalo to be rebuilt.

Cleveland.---The propeller NORTHERNER, which arrived at this port some time ago and went into the Cleveland Dry-dock Co's dock, will be rebuilt by that company. The machinery and boiler of the burned steamer appear to be in good condition. She is now lying in Presley's slip and will be cleaned out and trimmed up before she goes into drydock for a rebuild.
