Chicago.---Several minor mishaps resulted from the squall that swept across the lake Saturday night. Capt. Melchert of the schooner CHARLOTTE RAAB filed a protest Monday. While bound from Bay De Noque to Chicago with a cargo of railway ties and telegraph poles, his vessel was struck by a squall, and the deck load between the spars was overboard to the rails. The schooner was leaking when she arrived here.
