Full Text

The coal barges F.M. DICKINSON and EMERALD were driven ashore at Kewaunee
Wednesday morning. Three of the DICKINSON's crew were drowned, the other four floated ashore on a plank. The EMERALD's crew started ashore in the yawl, but were drowned.

      Minorville. - Lathem and Smith of Sturgeon Bay having purchased the barge EMERALD wrecked at Kewaunee last fall, are engaged in an attempt to release her, with good prospects of success.

Manitowoc. - Leatham & Smith have bought two wrecked schooners which will be made ready for sea as soon as possible. One is the EMERALD, which went ashore at Kewaunee last fall, drowning all hands. She was bought for $300 and is now in drydock at Manitowoc.
