Chicago.---Captain Genderson, owner of the schooner CARRIER, received a telegram from Montague stating that his vessel struck the pier there and stove in her side. She will be towed to Grand Haven for repairs.

      Chicago.---At Miller Bros. shipyard the schooner CARRIER is receiving repairs to damage done when she ran into the pier at Montague last week, comprising several new stanchions, considerable new ceiling, and outside planking on starboard side.
