Description
Full Text

Minorville.---The schooner BAY STATE made this harbor late last Thursday night during a heavy gale from the southeast. She came in with her canvas nearly all set, and was under such headway when she struck the ice which had formed in Sturgeon Bay that she stove in a plank and became waterlogged. The tug NELSON went to her assistance, and towed her to Sturgeon Bay, where the necessary repairs were made.
