St. Catharines Journal (St. Catharines, ON), August 4, 1842
Description
- Full Text
Nearly all the heavy boats have been withdrawn for the present and given place to the smaller class of steamers. The Red Jacket has joined the consolidation and commenced her trips on the Toledo route. The Chautauqua having been refitted resumes her trips to Barcelona. The Waterloo continues to run to the Falls, and with the cars carries hundreds down daily to rusticate at this delightful spot. The recent very warm weather has generally increased the number of guests there. Buf. Pat.
