We learn from the captain of the steamer EXPERIMENT, that the schooner JENNY has gone to pieces twelve miles above Long Point Cut. The crew are all safe.

NOTE:-- The EDWIN JENNY 82 tons, appears in the 1847 list of Vessels published by the Buffalo Commercial Advertiser, on April 4, 1848 and again on March 30, 1849, she appears in the 1849 list, as EDWIN JENNA, 82.37 tons, but marked (dead). It is thought that the vessel in the above casualty would be the EDWIN JENNY ????

To verify that the EDWIN JENNY was alive in 1848, the following extracts from Port of Buffalo, 'Arrivals & Departures' were noted. She is NOT listed again as arriving or departing from Buffalo after June 2,1848 thru Dec.1849. Nor was she enrolled after 1848
