When near Point Abino yesterday on her way from Port Stanley to this place, the steamer DISPATCH sprung a leak. Fortunately the propeller MANHATTAN, which was engaged at the wreck of the propeller GLOBE, went to her assistance, and relieved her of her freight and passengers, which she brought to this port. The DISPATCH by the use of extra pumps, suceeded in reaching here last evening, when she proceeded immediately to the railway for repairs.

STEAMER DISPATCH. -- This vessel, on her downward trip, sprung a leak off Point Abino, and run ashore. The propeller MANHATTAN, which was near by, taking goods from the propeller GLOBE, went to her assistance, took off her cargo, and brought it into port. The DISPATCH came in soon afterwards, and proceeded at once to the dry dock for repairs.

October 30, 1849 - The steamer DISPATCH, which plies between this port and Port Stanley, on her passage to this port yesterday morning, when near Point Abino, sprung a leak. The propeller MANHATTAN, which was engaged at the wreck of the propeller GLOBE, went to her assistance and took off her passengers and freight and brought them to port. The DISPATCH, with the assistance of extra pumps, was kept afloat, and made port last evening, and went on the railway for repairs. --- Buffalo Express.
