LAKE ACCIDENT.---The colors of the shipping in our harbor, were at half mast today, for the loss of Nelson Wescott, mate, and Mr. Wilson, deck hand on the schooner HERALD, who were lost overboard on Lake Ontario, on Wednesday night last week. They were engaged in taking the bonnet from the jib, when both were struck by the jib, and fell into the lake. A heavy sea was running at the time it was very dark, and no assistance could be rendered. Mr. Wescott resided at Sackett's harbor, and Mr. Wilson was from the Atlantic. -- Toledo Blade
