Description
Full Text

The new barque " CITY OF OGDENSBURG," lying at the wharf in Chicago harbor,
receiving a cargo of grain, was struck by lightning, during a heavy thunderstorm on Saturday last, and all three of her masts, and parts of her deck were shattered, the crew, however, fortunately escaping injury. Some time will be required to put her again in sailing order.
