New Steamboat - We understand that a public meeting will be held in the town hall, on Monday evening next, at 7 o'clock, for the purpose of taking into consideration the most feasible means for obtaining a steamboat to ply, during the ensuing season, between Port Dalhousie and Toronto. The meeting called for last Monday forenoon proved a failure, in consequence of the unavoidable absence of Mr. McGiverin, who was suddenly called out of town. We hope the next one will be well attended, and result in the proper steps being taken to secure a good steamer.
