The Maritime History of the Great Lakes
Broheen (Shipwreck), aground, 1 Nov 1869

Description
Full Text

The hull of the BROHEEN, wrecked near Cheboygan during the terrific gale of last November, was towed into this place last Monday by the LEVIATHAN for safety, and now lies well out of the water on the beach near Beacon Pt. She will in all probability remain for some time. The body of the hull is in fair condition, but the arch frames are pretty well out, up and one side is slightly hogged. She will probably be turned into a barge, if anything.
