A TOTAL LOSS. - The schooner Exchange, which got ashore a few days since at Kelley's Island, has become a total loss, and is abandoned to the underwriters. She is valued at $10,000, insured for $6,700, and is owned by Capt. James Lawler, of Sandusky. The Exchange had been in service seventeen years, was built at Vermillion, Ohio, for A. Bradley; was 375 ton burden. The loss falls heavily on Capt. Lawler, as be but a short time since invested nearly his entire means in the purchase of the vessel.
