The barque NORTH STAR, from Buffalo, while coming in by the North channel, at about 10 A. M., struck on the bar -sounded, and found 8 feet of water; the vessel drawing 9 feet 6 inches forward. By aid of canvas and hawser, succeeded in getting off at 12 P.M. - Chicago Tribune
