Description
Full Text

Brig LOWELL was off Milwaukee during the squall, on Saturday evening, and split her jib and foretop gallant sail. In making our harbor yesterday forenoon, she ran into the north pier, carried away her martingale and lost her starboard anchor overboard. The anchor was recovered shortly after and the brig towed up the river. - Chicago Tribune
