The Chicago Times states that the schr. ELIDA J.ROGERS, which had been laid up for some time, loaded with corn on Wednesday and was being towed out into the lake when it was discovered that she had sprung a serious leak. She returned at once and began discharging cargo preparatory to going into drydock. The corn suffered no damage.
