The schr. CHENEY AMES arrived here yesterday by the tug HECTOR. She was leaking about 6 inches per hour and was taken to the Union Yard to be docked. The AMES loaded with coal from Lorain for Ogdensburg, in a fog on Sunday (4th.) went on Tecumseh Reef, about 12 miles above Grand River. She is insured for $7,500 with Smith & Davis & Co.
