Grand Haven, Jan. 5 - At 7:00 this evening fire broke out on the big wrecking tug ALBERT J. WRIGHT. A heavy northwest gale was blowing and before the fire department could get to her she burned nearly to the water edge, and is practically a total loss, with partial insurance. She is owned by Thompson of Port Huron and Capt. James Martin of the stm. ROANOKE. The WRIGHT came here some 4 weeks ago from the Sault to lay up and have her machinery repaired.
