Grand Haven, Jan. 5 - At 7:00 this evening fire broke out on the big wrecking tug ALBERT J. WRIGHT. A heavy northwest gale was blowing and before the fire department could get to her she burned nearly to the water edge, and is practically a total loss, with partial insurance. She is owned by Thompson of Port Huron and Capt. James Martin of the stm. ROANOKE. The WRIGHT came here some 4 weeks ago from the Sault to lay up and have her machinery repaired.

      The engines of the tug A.J. WRIGHT are to be put into the I.N. FOSTER being converted to a steamer, the A.J. WRIGHT when rebuilt will get the engines of the steamer CITY OF CHARLEVOIX and the boilers of the wrecked steamer CALUMET.
