      Buffalo Commercial Advertiser
      Jan. 26, 1863. Casualty List, 1862

The schooner EMMA, bound down, while lying at anchor at the Flats, on Thursday evening, was run into by the schooner ANNA CRAIG, which was in tow of the tug F. MOORE, bound up. The EMMA had her small boat cut in twain, and her main sail completely riddled by the former vessel's jibboom. The CRAIG, it is presumed, sustained no injury. _ Detroit Advertiser
