Full Text

Capt. Dyer, of the scow EAGLE, reports that in coming down the bay last night, during the squall, he passed the schooner PRIDE, Capt. Leonard, a half a mile above Venice, and immediately thereafter saw the craft capsize. Running before the wind, he was unable to tender any relief, and cannot say if any hand were lost. Capt. Leonard had several boys on board, and it is feard that some of them have gone down. - Sandusky Register, 18th.
