October 28, 1851. - Schooner ONEIDA, run into by the steamer OHIO - vessel filled - cargo lumber - towed to Cleveland. Property loss, $700

NOTE:- the above casualty is for the schooner ONEIDA, it would appear that the OHIO was not injured.

      The stmr. OHIO and the schr. ONEIDA came in collision off Black River Point
on Friday night (10/31). The schooner immediately filled, but being loaded wit
lumber did not sink. She was towed to Cleveland.
