Schooner ALPHA ashore near the east pier at Port Hope. Owned by Parker of Woodstock. Vessel built ay Oakville and it is thought she will be a total loss.

      Efforts are being made to raise the schr. ALPHA which was sunk at Port Hope, two steam pumps having been sent from Buffalo to her relief.
