Going down the Niagara River this morning the schr. SWEETHEART of the PRINGLE tow went on the head of Strawberry Island. Assistance was sent for.

      The schooner SWEETHEART of the PRINGLE tow while going down the river yesterday morning went on the head of Strawberry Island. She was released by the tugs CASCADE and BEYERS last night.
      The schooner C.B. BENSON, aground at Ferry street, was also released yesterday.
