The prop. C.F. CURTIS, bound up from Tonawanda ran ashore near the Canadian ferry landing at Fort Erie yesterday morning, and was still on at midnight.
      The propeller is on the rocks and is out about 3 ft. forward. An effort was made to release the boat by the tugs CASCADE, GEE and TONAWANDA. Another effort will be made to release the boat this morning.

      ON THE BEACH NEAR FORT ERIE LANDING.
The propeller CURTIS, towing the barge FASSETT, went hard aground this morning in Niagara River just above the Fort Erie ferry landing. Both boats are light and the barge is not on the bottom, which is gravel. Tugs of the Great Lakes Towing Company have been sent for and will pull her off today

      The stmr. CURTIS which went on the rocks on the Canadian side of the river last week, abreast of the foot of Ferry Street, was released yesterday by the stmr. JOHN F. EDDY and tugs, and brought to Buffalo, where she will be repaired. The CURTIS had her bottom badly racked. She is of wood.

      PROPELLER CURTIS PULLED OFF ROCKS.
The propeller CURTIS, which grounded near Fort Erie, was pulled off yesterday by the propeller EDDY and tugs CASCADE and GEE. Her bottom seems to be all right and she proceeded on her way up the lake under her own steam.
