Yesterday morning, when the stmr. SWAN was coming down the River Thames, on her passage from Chatham to this city, her wheel chain got out of order, by which she became unmanageable, and ran afoul the branch of a tree which projected over the stream, carrying away the greater part of her starboard wheel-house.
