SCHOONER WILLARD JOHNSON. -- It is contemplated, we learn, to abandon this vessel for the present, or until a more favorable season for raising her, which will doubtless not take place until next spring. The vessel is offered for sale by the underwriters as she now lies in 30 feet of water, and if not sold shortly, her rigging, sails and outfit, will be taken off from her. -- Detroit Free Press, 13th.

SCHOONER WILLARD JOHNSON. -- This fine vessel, which was cast upon a reef near Point Austin, Lake Huron, some three weeks since, it has been determined to rescue if possible and bring to this port, and put in proper repair once more. For this purpose the tug DISPATCH, owned by Capt. Grummond, has been chartered, with the well known diver Mr. Harrington, and will leave this morning for the scene of operations. -- Detroit Free Press, 17th.
