Escanaba, Aug. 21 - The wrecker MONARCH has gone to the schr. UNADILLA ashore on Gull Island Reef. The UNADILLA has coal from this port.

      Escanaba, Aug. 22 - The schr. UNADILLA which went ashore on Gull Island Reef last Thursday, arrived here this morning. The UNADILLA was towed to the head of the Beavers and from there across the foot of the lake under sail, finally going ashore in a dense fog.
      About 400 tons of coal was lightered and jettisoned before she was released. The boat is leaking but little and will discharge her coal cargo here.

The schooner UNADILLA, which has been ashore on Gull Island is a total loss. She was insured for $8,000.
