The Chicago Democratic Press of the 11th says "the schr. WM. H. HINSDALE, of Michigan City, while proceeding up the river yesterday afternoon with a full cargo of lumber from Grand River, ran against Lake Street Bridge, and broke her jibboom, bowsprit, tore her flying jib badly, and carried away some of the head rigging."
