The U.S. Surveying steamer SEARCH arrived here Sunday afternoon in tow of the tug GORE in a crippled condition, having broken her shaft near Goderich, in Lake Huron, Saturday evening. A new shaft, we learn, is to be forged immediately to replace the former.
