BOILER EXPLOSION AND LOSS OF LIFE - Detroit, Sept. 19 - The tug W.K. MINER
exploded her boiler last night at Port Huron, totally destroying the boat, instantly killing Capt. Robert Bridgeon, Mate Elias Bridgeon, Engineer Brampton two firemen; and the cook, whose name has not been ascertained. Five others were badly hurt, and one of whom will die.
