Full Text

Kingston, Nov. 26 - The schr. ALBATROSS, which is ashore at Wellington, has a case of ice around her sides 2 ft. in thickness and about 150 tons clinging to her rigging. Her deck load of lumber was removed by the CHIEFTAN as well as some shingles from her hold. Several unsuccessful attempts were made to draw the ALBATROSS off, but the weather was such that it was found necessary to abandon her.
