Launch. - On the 7th, a new steam boat called the Rochester, was launched from the ship yard of Mr. G. S. Weeks. she is 166 feet length - 22 feet beam, and is to be propelled by a low pressure engine of one hundred horse power. She is built for the Ontario Steam and Canal Boat Company, and will be ready to take her station among our lake boats on the opening of navigation. As to her model, finish, & c., we cannot pay her a higher compliment than to state they are after those of the Lady of the Lake, under the direction of her master builder, Mr. G. S. Weeks.
